Discover Montevideo on two wheels in this bike adventure of approximately 3 hours, enjoyed in a shared group and accompanied by a local guide.
Upon arriving at the meeting point, you’ll receive all the necessary equipment for this bike tour. We’ll start the guided route through Montevideo on Pérez Castellano Street, located in the heart of the Old City of Uruguay’s capital. The first stop will be Zabala Square, whose design was inspired by the Belle Époque. We continue to Constitution Square, where we’ll see the square’s fountain—full of symbolism—the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Cabildo, the Uruguay Club, and the Sarandí Pedestrian Street. Another key point on the route is the Citadel Gate, Independence Square, the Mausoleum, Salvo Palace, Estévez Palace, and other must-see monuments and buildings around this square, as well as the Solís Theatre, where you’ll learn about the history of the Battle of the Río de la Plata. From there, we pedal to the Rambla Sur, where you’ll find the English Temple, Mercosur Headquarters, Rodó Park, the Summer Theatre, the Punta Carretas Lighthouse, and other points of interest along our waterfront.
