Testimony of the past
Founded by the Portuguese on the banks of the Río de la Plata and built with stone and wood, the NOVA COLONIA DO SANTÍSSIMO SACRAMENTO was born.
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7:50 a.m., departing from Montevideo.
A point of dispute between the Portuguese and Spanish crowns, Colonia preserves in its streets and architecture a true testimony of the past. Its blend of countryside, beaches, and river creates a natural setting that harmonizes beautifully with its history.
